Perimeter work sits at both ends of a solar build: fence line and access control are often needed early so the site can be secured and material can be delivered, and fence repairs and gate adjustments are commonly punch-list items at closeout.
Fencing on a solar farm is a construction scope, not a residential product. The fence line follows the civil drawings, the surveyed property and array limits, drainage features, and the access roads the project team intends to use. Post spacing, embedment, fabric, tension, ground clearance, and gate hardware are installed to the project specification rather than to a generic standard, and the work has to be sequenced around earthwork, pile driving, and delivery traffic that may still be running through the same corridors.
